I'm so glad we had a great time at the park! I do want to make sure that we are working well with our groups and that you understand how to create performances. Please complete the survey below by Tuesday Evening (11/3) to let me know how it went.

We will be working on our first health project in class on Wednesday. Please remember to bring a physical copy of your picture (does not have to be an original-it can be a printed copy!) or to upload a digital copy to your google drive so you can incorporate it into a digital copy. You will start in class and finish at home.

PLAYGROUND PHYSICS Today, October 1st, students received a document you MUST fill out about the Hall of Science Playground Physics study (This is 4 pages stapled together on white paper). You do not have to consent to any or all of the research procedures, but you must return it filled out for the STUDENT ASSENT form AND the PARENTAL CONSENT form. All students will still be able to participate even if you do not consent. ***I am offering +1 HW extra credit for all students who return it tomorrow, 10/2. All students who return the form will receive a Hall of Science color change pencil. (They REALLY need these forms back!) : ) UPDATE 10/4 I attended training this weekend and this is what I have learned:
As of September 30th, ALL students have received the bright orange invitation to the Urban Advantage Science Days that begin on October 11. Free admission is for the whole day, but the activities are only on the times listed on the orange paper. Students may complete the activity attached on the white paper for +5 of homework extra credit. Both sides of the paper must be completed with effort by 11/2 in order to receive the extra credit. GOOGLE CLASSROOM Students 601, 602, and 604 who have returned the signed google classroom letter have received their google classroom login information which is located on page 127 of their planners. 603 will receive theirs on Monday. **To access google classroom at home, students can download the google apps on their mobile device(s) (google classroom, google docs, google slides, and google sheets)-these are all FREE. To access google classroom from a laptop or desktop computer, students can visit: classroom.google.com and sign in from there. Students SHOULD NOT attempt to sign into google+ using this account information-it will disable their account. |
